A Founder for Founders
Jeff is the Chairman of Mirador Software Group and has been operating and investing in software businesses for nearly 40 years.
Jeff founded two ERP buy-and-builds (Consona & Forterro) currently touting a combined valuation of $4.7 billion. He is currently chairman of bookreport, a K-12 ERP software and accounting services startup. Prior to bookreport, Jeff spent nearly 10 years building Forterro as CEO, acquiring 8 industrial ERP software businesses serving European mid-market manufacturers.
Prior to Forterro, Jeff founded Battery Ventures’ buyout practice, which began with the 2003 take-private of Made2Manage Systems, the original acquisition for the Consona platform. In his 9 years as CEO of Consona, the business grew organically and inorganically – acquiring 13 ERP and CRM businesses. Battery Ventures sold the group to Vista Equity Partners in 2012, who merged it with CDC to create Aptean.
Prior to Consona, Jeff held CEO positions at several software companies, including Millenium Dynamics, iKnowledge Inc., EC Cubed and Zeborg.
Jeff holds a B.S. in geological engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. in international finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
