A Growth Story
Corbin Tognoni is the founder and CEO of Mirador Software Group. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of Forterro, a global private equity backed industrial ERP buy-and-build. Corbin began his career identifying and completing enterprise software buyout transactions at Battery Ventures and Forterro.
During Corbin's 10 years at Forterro, Forterro grew more than 15x from a single-product ERP company in Sweden with less than 80 employees to a €200M international group with 12 ERP products, more than 11,000 clients, and 1,300 employees across 17 countries. Supporting Forterro’s international growth, Corbin was chairman of the board or president of 13 business entities across 8 countries. Throughout Forterro's growth journey, he both evaluated and acquired scores of ERP software companies, developing an extended network of European ERP leaders and helping to create and execute on value creation strategies for the various business units and products in Forterro’s portfolio.
Corbin has over a decade of experience investing in and operating ERP software businesses, having raised over $450 million of capital across more than 20 financial transactions. He also advises software businesses and investment firms across the globe, including BookReport (an ERP software and bookkeeping services provider to K-12 schools in the US), Ingressive Capital (a $60 million VC Fund focused on technology companies in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt and Morocco), and Gung (a B2B eCommerce software provider for Industrial Companies in Sweden).
Corbin is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a BA in Economics.
